QHSE Manager

As an QHSE Manager you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all QHSE activities within the organization. This includes developing and implementing safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting audits and inspections, investigating incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Coordinating and Developing QHSE Programs
- Coordinate and support QHSE programs to foster a safety culture; Ensure compliance with internal and external QHSE regulations; Maintain good and professional relationships with regulatory agencies
- Develop standards and procedures for incident and pollution prevention; Conduct regular QHSE audits and reviews; Develop and implement emergency response plans
- Define, coordinate, or supervise QHSE training; Support during federal/ state audits; Support QHSE management and ensure compliance with Velocity workflows
Process Safety and Quality Improvement
- Provide QHSE expertise for new and modified processes; Analyze statistics and QHSE documentation; Improve work habits and develop personnel
- Follow up on actions to resolve QHSE issues; Propose and implement ergonomic improvement proposals; Provide management with regular updates on Quality Performance
- Improve internal communication and awareness of quality
Coordinating and Developing compliance programs
- Supervise and train the administration personnel in relations to the latest changes in trade and legal requirements; Provide a clear up-date to the company management related to the current rules and procedures required by UN, USA, EU as well as local countries regulations
- Identify and deliver trainings to the specific compliance personnel (Gatekeepers); Serve as a prime source of information about any new development, changes on a field of compliance
- Monitoring of the intra-company Compliance programs and tools related to the international regulations; Support of the Trade Compliance personnel (Users and Gatekeepers) in their duties – problems solving, advise etc.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Proven experience leading programs with a focus on safety regulations; Ability to conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and risks
- Knowledge of English and Polish languages - fluent level; Russian language is a plus
- Knowledge of risk assessment and management techniques; Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Strong communication skills to effectively connect with employees, management, and regulatory agencies
- Leadership skills to empower and inspire teams to prioritize safety; Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address QHSE issues
- Willingness to travel as required
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Extensive familiarity with QHSE compliance standards and successful strategies in different legal jurisdictions
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and leading QHSE programs
