What We’re Looking For- This role is open to both Bangladeshi and International Citizens.
• Advocacy Expertise: At least 7 years of experience in humanitarian advocacy, with a strong understanding of child rights, international humanitarian law, and the complexities of refugee crises. Expertise in research and policy analysis will add value.
• Exceptional Communicator: Skilled in policy development, lobbying, and networking, with experience delivering and creating high-quality advocacy products such as policy briefs and advocacy briefs.
• Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to analyze complex situations, develop evidence-based strategies, and lead multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Collaborative Leader: Adept at building relationships with government officials, UN agencies, donors, and NGOs, with a track record of effective coordination in challenging contexts.
• Adaptable and Resilient: Thrives under pressure, with excellent planning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement and operationalize the existing Rohingya Response Advocacy Strategy at all levels and ensure its endorsement.
• Represent Save the Children in key forums, advocating for policy changes that prioritize the rights and well-being of Rohingya children.
• Collaborate with media teams to create impactful communications and media products, while navigating the political sensitivities of the crisis.
• Build the capacity of staff and partners, fostering a culture of collaboration advocacy excellence across our teams.
