Corporate Governance & Oversight Compliance, Vice President
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President to join our Finance & Business Management team within the Corporate Finance.
As a Corporate Governance & Oversight Compliance, Vice President within our team, you will have responsibility for the business management processes, monthly outlook and forecast submissions, and overall financial management of the products within your responsibility. You should possess a solutions-oriented mindset and ability to influence and navigate a matrix organization. We are seeking a highly motivated team member, able to manage varying levels of complexity and navigate through peak demand. Critical to your success in this role is the ability to be flexible in shifting workload priorities and be comfortable in a fast-paced priority-promoten environment. You must establish strong relationships with all stakeholders to strategically plan and execute on related agendas, projects, action items and deliverables.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with the Corporate Compliance Technology and Global Technology Finance & Business Management teams in all areas of business management including: budget planning, monthly forecasting and reporting, investment lifecycle management, headcount planning and tracking, location strategy, vendor management productivity tracking, run rate analysis, monitoring expenses, and cost recovery.
- Manage the day-to-day Business Management deliverables in support of Corporate Compliance Technology and align to leadership’s key agenda items. Includes making business as usual decisions, influencing stakeholders, and determining proper course of action within level of responsibility – escalating when necessary and appropriate
- Develop trust with supported business functions and clients, taking the lead on ad-hoc requests, meeting materials, delivery requirements, and monthly financial activities.
- Fully manage expense management of P&L, variance analysis and necessary follow-ups, and communication / presentation to management.
- Oversee and manage data inputs related to investment governance across the product domain, including understanding the end to end system dependencies of the data model
- Help drive standardization, process improvement, and automation across the teams and existing realm of responsibility.
- Exhibits a high standard of JPMC culture, respect and carries this within the organization
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Management, Business Management, or Program Management
- Flexible in their work style, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate, and develop new concepts, processes and value-added activities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and articulate relevant issues to senior management.
- Excellent quantitative and analytic problem-solving skills; superior analytical and financial modeling skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities , and skills
- Strong technical skills with Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PitchPRO); proven track record of partnering with other subject matter experts to deliver holistic insights.
- Experience with Technology Finance & Business Management
- Advance knowledge of Essbase, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience with Business applications (Tableau, Ariba)
