At the heart of Next we have the HR Tech team supporting all of head office, retail and our warehouses - that’s over 50,000 people! Oracle was introduced to support such a large and growing workforce and will ensure that our people continue to be at the heart of Next by ensuring we have the software we need to develop current talent, attract new talent to join us as well as the oh so important payroll aspects.

 

The role

You will provide support to all HR users across the business on a number of existing systems whilst testing in-house developed system enhancements and bug fixes with an understanding of the business impact of the Incidents received and prioritise accordingly. There will be escalation of high priority and business impacting issues to the relevant individuals and ensure the integrity of data by recording all actions for Incidents and Service Requests in the ServiceNow Service Management tool

 

You will also get involved with analysing and document existing system processes and be the main point of contact for environments and first line incidents. 

 

You’ll also work closely with the functional team, development teams and key business users to keep everyone up to date and head off any issues that might be on the horizon.

 

In addition, you’ll also create and enhance our in-house technologies. This will involve a range of tech, such as:

  • SQL for database interrogation
  • Incident logging systems such as ServiceNow
  • Google G Suite, Oracle, HR systems

 

You’ll be doing all this on site from our Leicestershire Head Office.
