As a Financial Reporting and Analytics - Analyst in our BWM Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering set goals for our firm. We support the Consumer and Business Banking sub-lob by offering Performance and Financial Reporting and Analytics, Planning and Analysis services to various internal customers including Finance and Business Management leads and field finance management teams. In this role, you will support field performance reporting and analysis and work closely with senior business management leads based out of the US.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform various BAU and adhoc tasks related to branch scorecard and analytics.
- Produce Business performance review materials, branch scorecard and decks to an audience that includes senior business management leads, Business Leaders heading various levels within the Branch network hierarchy.
- Provide commentary and insights on business performance facilitating discussions on exceptions in trends and other focus areas and bringing the same to management attention.
- Play a key role in conceptualizing and developing new reporting decks for tracking and driving performance around various field initiatives.
- Support multiple ad hoc requests from the Business and Senior Management in line with their expectations. The adhocs range from understanding and commenting on trends in performance to deep dives that help provide insights to business about field performance including progress on key strategic initiatives.
- Constantly look at opportunities to automate existing reports.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- MBA (Finance) with minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience with specialized experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Finance, performance reporting and analytics, metric/business scorecards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong team player and ability to work with various diverse finance and business management teams.
- Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment.
- Ability to research issues/problems and provide a `solution-based` approach.
- Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong knowledge of Essbase . Working knowledge of any analytical tools e.g. Alteryx will be good to have
