Engineering (Technical) Specialist

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Maintain, upgrade, and conduct routine evaluations of engineering tools, software, and inspection equipment; coordinate annual maintenance with third-party providers.
- Provide technical assistance across departments, resolve engineering issues, and prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) for product rewiring and conversion requests.
- Manage repair and life cycle care projects, and collaborate with the R&D team to implement product enhancements.
- Maintain and update Global and Local Work Instructions (GWIs and LWIs) to ensure alignment with engineering standards.
- Determine project scope, budget, and schedule; perform design calculations, coordinate activities, and document design criteria.
- Participate in or lead lean and six sigma improvement teams to drive project success and continuous improvement.
You evaluate pros and cons, risks and benefits of different solution options. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You separate and combine activities into efficient workflows. You scan the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that can benefit business or personal performance.
- 1800 hours of technical education or equivalent
- Three (3) - Six (6) years of related experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Associates or Technical Degree

Our training programs and initiatives focus on end-to end development, from onboarding through senior leadership. We provide a wide range of development opportunities, including face-to-face and virtual training, mentorship, and coaching, project management, and on-the-job training.
Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
