Location	Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
Qualification	Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience	Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance roles, preferably within the mining industry. Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Extensive knowledge of mining equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements	Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools. Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities	Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources, including manpower, tools, and equipment. Implement strategic planning to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks, balancing immediate needs with long-term goals. Monitor workflow and productivity, adjusting plans as necessary to meet operational demands and minimize downtime. Develop and manage detailed preventive maintenance schedules for all mining equipment and infrastructure, aiming to extend asset life and reduce unexpected failures. Oversee and execute routine maintenance tasks, emergency repairs, and planned shutdowns with minimal disruption to mining operations. Ensure maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety, within the allocated timeframes. Promote and enforce a strong safety culture within the maintenance team, ensuring that safety is a top priority in all activities. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards, maintaining a high level of operational integrity. Provide expert technical guidance and support for diagnosing and resolving complex maintenance issues, leveraging extensive knowledge of mining equipment. Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Collaborate with external experts and vendors when necessary to address challenging technical issues. Monitor and control maintenance costs, implementing measures to optimize expenditure without compromising quality or safety. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of necessary materials and equipment, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
