Full time: 35 hours per week.

The Opportunity:
A full-time Research Project and Laboratory Manager (RPLM) position is available for a talented laboratory scientist to join our well-established neuroscience research team based at the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, Edinburgh BioQuarter. The focus of our research is the molecular basis of brain function, with an emphasis on synapse biology.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Substantial practical experience in the day-to-day running of a research laboratory
- Expertise in animal husbandry, including managing a transgenic mouse colony
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and team working skills
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks at once, with initiative and drive
