UE05: £27,979.00 - £32,332.00 Per Annum.

CAHSS / School of Social & Political Sciences.

Open Ended Contract - Permanent.

Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.

The Opportunity:

You will deliver efficient and consistent administrative support to the School, including the SPS Learning and Teaching Directorate and teaching organisation, ensuring delivery of a high standard of governance, reporting, and transparency of decision making.  You will be responsible for reporting key information and for providing administrative capacity to deliver change and improvement projects as part of a drive to increase efficiency and improvements in student and staff experience within the School.  

This post is open ended available from 1 September 2024.  This post is full-time (35 hours per week). 

This post requires regular on-campus working. Some hybrid working may be possible but cannot be guaranteed.   

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Either vocational qualifications (N/SVQ 3, ONC or equivalent) plus typically 2 years’ work experience in a relevant role, or School education to standard grade or equivalent plus typically 3 years’ relevant work experience (Desirable).
  • Commitment to, and the ability to provide, excellence in the delivery of services
  • Working knowledge of relevant systems, equipment, processes and procedures including standard software packages and possibly non-standard software. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed organisational skills to plan and to prioritise including the ability to work calmly under pressure, while ensuing accuracy and attention to detail.
