If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of Cleaners in Schools within the Kirkcaldy area. We have a permanent vacancy to join our team at Auchtertool Primary School on a backshift Monday to Friday 3:00pm to 6:00pm term time only.
You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is every 4 weeks and annualised.

This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.
The Person
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
You will be required to attend Induction Training before starting in post.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
