We currently have a permanent vacancy to join our team:
Catering Assistant
- St Columbas RC Primary School – 5 hours per week on a 38 week contract (Breakfast Club from 8:00am to 9:00am)
You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this postt, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is every 4 weeks and annualised for 38-week contracts.

This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether its Breakfast Club, Morning Break or Lunch you have served.
No previous experience required as on the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.
The Person
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
You will be required to attend an Induction Day before starting in post.
