Ipswich Borough Council is looking to recruit a Facilities and Market Assistant to support the running of the Ipswich Market and Corn Exchange.
You will need to be self-motivated with good interpersonal and customer skills to engage with traders and members of the public.
The position involves a variety of duties including set up and breakdowns of venues and equipment, ensuring safe working practices, monitoring stock levels as well as promoting and maintaining good relations with stakeholders, contractors, tenants, and market traders.
The post requires you to hold a current, full, and clean driving license and be able to undertake manual handling tasks.
You will be expected to work weekends with early starts and have a level of flexibility in working hours.
