The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – Diversity will play a key role in advancing DP World’s  talent acquisition agenda and results for sourcing and hiring diverse talent. 

This position will support the Americas Region, and will report to the Director, Talent Acquisition and be responsible for partnering with DP World leaders and key stakeholders to create and implement business-aligned diversity recruiting strategies that yield measurable results to hire from top tier educational institutions as well as experienced lateral hiring. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in diversity recruiting and a passion for, and experience in, recruiting diverse profiles across gender, ethnic, LGBTQ and abilities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support and consult as a Talent Advisor with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners on their operational recruitment demand, that align with overall business needs, and advise on the best hiring strategy.  Develop position specific recruitment plans and identify candidate pools.
  • Create attractive and exciting job descriptions to engage candidates to join the company.
  • Pro-actively source candidates (active and passive) by using our company Sourcing Strategy and Applicant Tracking System in cooperation with the latest sourcing channels on the market.  Screen, introduce and interview candidates.
  • Identify and develop appropriate channels to recruit candidates for active and passive sourcing, building relationships within the community (i.e., colleges, employment agencies, and recruiters), and participating in job fairs.
  • Maintain accurate information in the Applicant Tracking system to include moving candidates through the recruitment workflow, responding to candidate inquiries, and completing all required requisition fields to allow for accurate and timely reporting of processes.
  • Manage the feedback and offer process to candidates in continuous cooperation with the hiring manager.
  • Optimize the internal and external recruitment processes while providing the best candidate experience for all candidates and managing hiring manager expectations on timelines and market information.
  • Create and sustain relationships with key educational institutions, professional associations, diversity organizations, individuals, and community organizations to use as recruiting sources
  • Continually grow a pipeline of qualified diverse candidates through constant networking, mining, and managing of candidates and referrals; analyze results and adapt strategy accordingly
  • Leverage and partner with both internal and external stakeholders to build a diverse candidate pipeline for targeted roles
  • Drive engagement and partnerships with local organizations through creative methodologies that result in brand awareness regarding opportunities and careers with DP World
  • Conduct market research to understand where external diverse talent pools exist and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to explore initiatives to tap into those talent pools

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent.

- 5-7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 3 years of experience in diversity recruiting.

  • Proven track record of recruitment in a fast-paced, multi-functional corporate  environment providing first-class internal customer service.
  • Experience leading the end-to-end recruitment cycle.
  • Skilled in social media recruitment strategies and proficient in the use of LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Deep knowledge of recruiting strategies, processes, and marketplace trends.
  • Strong delivery focus with the ability to take full responsibility for campaign recruitment.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and stakeholders across all levels simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in thinking outside the box to attract diverse profiles.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized with the highest level of quality standards.
  • Goal-driven with the ability to pro-actively take initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills.
  • Ability to quickly build trust-based relationships with candidates, colleagues, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with minimal direction and handling ambiguity.
  • Advanced degree and executive-level recruiting experience are a plus.
