Nemours is seeking a Sr. Practitioner, Inclusive Education & Learning to join our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Alignment team in Orlando, Florida.

This is a hybrid position.

Reporting to the Director, DEI Education & Learning Initiatives, the Sr. Practitioner, Inclusive Education & Learning is responsible for supporting, advising, co-designing, and delivering diversity, equity, & inclusion learning and development opportunities to leaders and associates to engage, include, and retain an inclusive and diverse workforce. 

This individual will support the development, execution, facilitation, and evaluation of identified enterprise-wide diversity, equity & inclusion learning strategies, programs, and goals that reflect the business’s DEI priorities at the individual, group, and organizational level. 

In this role, this individual will partner with the Director, DEI Education & Learning Initiatives to collaborate, and deliver execution on all aspects of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Alignment (IDEA) department education & learning programs including needs analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation that contribute to advance workforce equity, to navigate differences effectively and optimize a diverse environment.  

  • Identify, develop, and execute solutions, new processes and tools for the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, & Alignment (IDEA) education and learning programs and content, applying best practices and an understanding of organizational needs.  Co-plan DEI education programs from start to completion with an emphasis on facilitation and content development (including but not limited to synchronous, asynchronous, and facilitation materials). 
  • Reviews and prioritizes requests for IDEA support in partnership with the Director, offering of a range of consultation services to managers and supervisors on the development and implementation of strategies for creating and sustaining an inclusive culture.
  • Utilizes organizational data and evidence-based practices to inform the development of DEI education and learning efforts.  Manage evaluation and assessment practices associated with all DEI education initiatives including, but not limited to, formative and summative assessments, survey evaluation, interviews, and focus groups.
  • In partnership with the Director, oversees process for assessing learning & education opportunities as a part of the overarching IDEA department strategy focused on inclusive education.  
  • Supports pipeline development programs for diverse individuals, including mentoring of students from relevant programs within IDEA and the enterprise.
  • Assists in identifying partnership and learning opportunities with organizational leaders to include enterprise leaders, ARG leads/executive sponsors, and internal/external stakeholders in consultation with IDEA leadership, to promote IDEA education initiatives across the enterprise (to include, but not limited to, patients, families, community partners, and more).
  • Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by Associate’s supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion function or role. Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience developing, leading, and facilitating DEI content and trainings required.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data for program development and evaluation required. 
  • Demonstrated understanding and skill developing innovative approaches to DEI education and outreach required.
  • Exceptional oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Experience in working with associates at all levels of the organization.
