Parts & QuickShip Warehouse Supervisor – Lifecycle Services
Parts & QuickShip Warehouse Supervisor:
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations.
Management inclusive of conducting regular trainings for storekeepers to ensure work is done safely.
The position shall be responsible for inventory management and maintaining inventory accuracy while ensuring safety awareness throughout the material handling/stores!
Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Lead the Parts & Quick Ship warehouse teams, plan and assign daily work.
- priorities to ensure optimal workflow and efficiency.
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities including receiving,
- storage/locating, picking, kitting, packing until handover of shipments to freight Forwarders.
- Build warehouse work processes and procedures in compliance with company.
- HSE guidelines
- Drive digitalization of the activities and work on warehouse automation.
- Train and develop team members/new hires on proper warehouse processes and procedures, safe handling/usage of all equipment and machinery in the warehouse and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Engage in daily Toolbox talks to ensure Safety is the top priority in all aspects of operations and conduct safety training in coordination with HSE.
- Coordinate with internal partners such as purchasing, quality, planning and logistics to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders.
- Supervise inventory management, setup and conduct regular cycle counts and audits /annual counts as deemed vital to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain cycle count documentation.
- Maintain efficient stock of warehouse consumables and trigger replenishment as required.
- Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of warehouse equipment’s, machinery, goods lift etc.
- Accountable for digitalization and storage of both inbound and outbound documents
- Ensure all inbound shipments are received in good condition from the freight
- forwarders and any damages observed are reported back to the freight forwarders within 24 hours
- Co-ordinate with the purchasing team to take decisions on material scrapping for non-conformance items as well as undertake quarterly scrapping upon receipt of finance approval.
- Responsible for providing timely inputs on capacity peaks, loads and other challenges which would impact warehouse performance.
- Ensure adherence to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices
- Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the line manager.

What do I need to be considered for this role?
- Diploma/bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management
