Corporate Benefits Training & Communications Specialist
This position reports to the Assistant Corporate Benefits Manager and is an exempt position. Principal areas of responsibilities shall include but aren`t limited to:
Communications:
Insurance Programs – Annually, review and initiate changes to the Benefits Procedures Manuals and Benefits Orientation Booklets/Videos. Create and coordinate all mid-year communications promoting our programs including fliers for locations, electronic notices, and mailouts.
Corporate Forms/Sharepoint/Internal Social Media – Responsible for creating and maintaining all Corporate forms and posting to Sharepoint. Review Sharepoint quarterly for accuracy of all Corporate documents. Update Benefits Self Service Brochures as needed. Maintain and execute the calendar of topics for the company’s internal social media platform.
On-Site Health Clinics – Assist the Director of Corporate Benefits with maintaining and coordinating Mountaire Health & Wellness Center and off-site clinic communications, maintain the On-Site Clinic Procedures Document; assist with creating Wellness videos and Posters communications; assist Maintain updated contact information for all clinics.
Training – Lead the project to create, source, and maintain corporate benefits training courses in the learning management system. Track and coordinate HIPAA training compliance for Benefits personnel and other employees, as needed. Responsible for tracking compliance training for all benefits team members. Act as the subject matter expert for the learning management system. Track all training for the Corporate office.
General/Human Resources - Coordinate and give final approval on all translations for videos and written materials. Maintain various departmental online files for policies and procedures. Assist with coordinating new hire training to the Benefits Departments on all Benefits policies and procedures. Assist with Corporate new hire testing and new hire paperwork.
Relief Support - Assist with front desk lunch relief, vacation relief and sick day relief.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across a variety of audiences and platforms is critical to the success of this role. Additionally, this position requires the ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities. Confidentiality in all aspects of Human Resources and company information required. Must have a high level of attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required. Experience in Marketing or Communications desired.
Bilingual preferred.
