As a Senior Product Portfolio Operations Associate in Consumer Bank Business and Product Transformation team, you are a significant contributor to your team with a good knowledge of optimization and integration. You understand what it takes to bring together all the key elements of a product line and its products to recommend coordinated outcomes. You will play a crucial role in advancing our agile and product delivery strategy. You will be responsible for mobilizing product teams to deliver large-scale initiatives and developing the Agile Product Portfolio across Consumer Banking. You will have an opportunity to work closely with various teams, promote continuous improvement, and contribute to the success of our portfolio.


Job responsibilities

  • Creates synergies across products to ensure successful delivery against business objectives
  • Collects key inputs from across products to ensure the full product-line framework highlights our core cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs 
  • Calculates metrics for portfolio management operations and analyzes data for areas of opportunity
  • Develops change initiative materials and change timelines
  • Assists in the product-level collection strategy consisting of controls, financials, and resourcing needs
  • Partner closely with Consumer Banking Product teams, Technology Leads, Design Leads and Data Owners to support product portfolio priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate initiative intake and prioritization processes and manage the Consumer Bank Initiative priority lists. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and process inefficiencies, implementing solutions to optimize product and portfolio delivery. 
  • Coordinate meetings and agenda topics for large, senior audiences. Take detailed meeting minutes and follow up on action items. 
  • Support special projects and executive requests and synthesize complex information in a strategic and compelling way so that the material is effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report key metrics and controls to track progress, evaluate performance, and measure the success of the portfolio. Generate regular reports and updates for product owners and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and update Confluence sites to review relevant data and information is accessible. Facilitate routines to provide advisory on transparent communication and efficient workflow.   

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization
  • Proven ability to implement operational effectiveness initiatives
  • Prior working exposure to operations of the product development life cycle and agile methodologies
  • 3+years of experience in product delivery, business management, agile methodology, consumer banking and/or project management.
  • Bachelor`s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, Proficient in agile product development methodology.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, understanding of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience delivering timely, high-quality communications, presentations, attention to details, and reporting for various stakeholder groups. 
  • Advanced level ability expected in all Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Confluence and Jira.
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to navigate complex tasks and roadblocks. Good relationship-building skills, with ability to establish trust and credibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with a knack for identifying challenges and implementing actionable solutions.
