Service Support Associate
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Operational Support & Coordination.
Complete parts orders, including price review, delivery, release, and work scope planning.
Collaborate with the operations team to schedule work and ensure material sourcing supports customer promise dates.
Accurately collect all processes from quote to final documentation for future reference, requiring a confirmed understanding of the Quality Management System.
Perform basic inventory transactions as instructed.
Handle basic buying and planning responsibilities using AXIOM and Oracle systems.
Enter purchase orders and handle transactional discussions with suppliers.
Apply MSDS guidelines to customer orders and requests.
Complete import and export compliance paperwork.
Facilitate technical questions and answers among customers, valve technicians, Emerson engineering resources, and other collaborators.
- Basic education diploma required.
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred in a relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant validated experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Understanding or work experience with Fisher products is preferred.
Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
Ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
Skilled in prioritizing contending demands and providing support outside normal working hours when vital.
Proven record in data extraction, manipulation, and presentation.
Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask optimally.
Technical Knowledge Requirements:
- Experience with Emerson Flow Controls in a Buyer/Planner or CODT/CDDT position is highly preferred.
