Portal Administrator
The Portal Administrator will be in charge of organizing all tasks related to the handling of RFQs, orders, delivery, and post-delivery updates on our major customer portals. In this position, you will actively facilitate improvement initiatives and work closely with our Business Units to ensure seamless coordination with their portal management goals.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:- Administer clients` portals, including coordinating RFQs, orders, gate passes, correspondence, organizing files, and updating records.
- Serve as the primary liaison for portal setup and user account management to ensure timely updates.
- Generate monthly executive reports on account market data, trends, and market direction.
- Create and set up clients` accounts, leading the approval process and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with our internal teams to handle order updates and deliveries within our customers` systems.
- Assist in scheduling customer meetings and coordinating events with the client`s logistics team.
- Coordinate client communications regarding updates to agreements.
- Lead daily portal activities and customer emails, ensuring flawless administrative processes and timely request handling.
- Support the resolution of portal issues and meet customer critical metrics as a proven strategic supplier.
- Ensure that all legal agreements and documents between Emerson and other parties are readily available to the organization.
- Ensure that required documentation and registrations of legal entities and products are updated in the portal.
- Support local content projects and initiatives such as (Made in Saudi, Future Manufacturing, Etimad Platform …etc).
- Optimize the above process with innovative solutions to align our customers` expectations with our world-class business goals.
- Handle complex customer expectations and update customers with any issues as early as possible after coordinating with internal partners to minimize the impact on operations.
- Agree on a mitigation plan with customers and the Business Unit leaders, where applicable, by providing a revised delivery plan in the event of emergencies or unforeseen disruptions in the supply chain.
- Track and ensure that our customer performance scores are improving on a quarterly basis.
- Provide timely and accurate updates of data for all team members, including bi-weekly critical metric reports to customers and the Emerson Management team.
- Immediately notify Manager/Supervisor and partners in case of discrepancies.
- Work closely with Emerson’s Local Business Partners supply chain teams to ensure their processes are aligned with the above requirements.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and training sessions as appropriate.
- Mentor the next layer of leadership by assigning stretch goals and assignments.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and actions at the site.
Who you are:
- You are an experienced professional in Material Supply Management with a strong focus on Customer Service.
- You are collaborative, innovative, proactive, motivated, and possess exceptional social skills.
For this Role, You Will Need:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a proven track record in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- Leadership experience in manufacturing or a related industry, with preferable experience in automation and instrumentation solutions.
- Strong business insights in support of business goals.
- The ability to lead complex customer interactions and comfortably engage with customers at decision-making levels.
- The ability to optimize business processes.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, with knowledge of Arabic being helpful.
