Oracle Business System Analyst
Emerson Measurement Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business systems analysis, with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Sophisticated Pricing and Order Management modules. Additional experience with Vendavo or other pricing tools is highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess outstanding communication and problem-solving skills and be adept at handling ambiguous situations. Experience working within a global organization is a significant advantage.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Join a distributed team at Emerson that is responsible for implementing Vendavo with integration to Oracle across multiple world regions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing sophisticated pricing and order management systems on a global scale.
- Analyze and document processes and requirements, specifically focusing on pricing and order management. Your expertise will play a crucial role in resolving issues and crafting effective strategies for our organization.
- Work closely with team members to identify and prioritize system enhancements and improvements. Your ideas and suggestions will be highly appreciated as we constantly seek to improve our systems and maintain a driven edge.
- Design and implement solutions within Vendavo and Oracle EBS, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will have the chance to showcase your technical skills and supply the detailed implementation of outstanding solutions.
- Partner closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Your ability to bridge the gap between business and technology will be instrumental in efficiently implementing system changes.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including requirements, process flows, and user guides. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that all documentation is accurate and easily accessible to the team.
- Conduct testing and validation of system changes to ensure they meet business needs. Your thorough testing will ensure that all system changes are detailed and meet the highest standards of quality.
You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.
You stage activities with relevant milestones and schedules.
You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization.
You scan the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that can benefit business or personal performance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5 year`s of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Pricing and Order Management modules and Oracle ERP (R12 or higher) systems.
- Experience with Vendavo or other pricing tools.
- Effective interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written.
- Advanced level of English.
- Confirmed problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Ability to navigate and lead ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based culture.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of additional pricing tools and software.
- Project management experience.
- Understanding of global business processes and regulatory requirements.
- SQL/PLSQL knowledge.
- Understanding of Data Science concepts is a plus.
