Job Overview
The Seasonal Creative Talent Management & Logistics Specialist supports the Macy’s Studios Parade Talent Management team for the upcoming parade season. This position reports directly to the Director, Creative Production, and leads all support aspects of the parade’s celebrity talent booking process, including production, travel, communication, and logistics.
What You Will Do
- Maintain timely and professional communication with talent representatives throughout the fall season.
- Orchestrate and schedule celebrity talent travel and logistics.
- Schedule rehearsals and manage ground transportation for all talent.
- Provide “white glove” customer service throughout the season.
- Contribute to the creative process for performances involving talent and other broadcast segments.
- Manage talent expenses and track overall budget per performance and sponsor using online budgeting systems and spreadsheets.
- Support final billing and payment for each vendor and talent.
- Lead and manage large vendor budgets and execution, including hotel and car service for all talent.
- Assist with Thanksgiving Day Parade operations and execution.
- Provide general support to the creative production team.
Skills You Will Need
Communication Skills: Excellent ability to maintain timely and professional communication with talent representatives and team members.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to orchestrate and schedule travel, rehearsals, and logistics for celebrity talent.
Customer Service: Proven experience in providing “white glove” customer service, ensuring a high-quality experience for all talent.
Budget Management: Competence in managing talent expenses, tracking budgets, and handling large vendor budgets and execution.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using online budgeting systems, spreadsheets, and general computer skills.
Administrative Skills: Prior experience in administrative, clerical, and/or management roles.
Event Production Experience: Background in theatrical/event production, stage/music management, or company management preferred.
Leadership and Facilitation: Strong leadership and facilitation skills with the ability to work across functional lines and at various levels.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically to solve problems and improve processes.

- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 5-7 years of experience working in the performing arts with a background in film, music, dance, theatrical/event production, stage management or company management preferred.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evening, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs. Working on Thanksgiving Day is required.
