Work Schedule: 20/hrs/week, Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm
Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Spring
Pay Rate: $8/hr
Job Description: Job includes various office duties including answering and screening phone calls, managing pre-nursing emails, and assist faculty, staff, students, and visitors as needed; shared space maintenance, working with Excel and Word; any other duties as requested by supervisor. Manage confidential materials; attention to detail; strong communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of general clerical skills; organizational and time management skills; proficiency in basic computer software and office equipment. The ability to comply with university policies and maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Provide general office assistance and support.
• Greet students, visitors, faculty, and staff with excellent customer service.
• Assemble new student folders for pre-nursing prospective student appointments.
• Manage the Pre-Nursing email account.
• Help in the planning of Pre-Nursing events on campus.
• Assist with various projects, activities, or tasks as needed.
• Ability to comply with university policies.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
