Job Details
In this catering post, for the Peacock Café, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP Procedures - completing required paperwork including electronic returns.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
Duties may also include serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround.
We have a permanent vacancy to join our team based at The Glen Pavilion working 8 hours every second Saturday from 9:00am to 5:30pm on a 52-week contract as required.
You will earn a competitive salary of £23,633.23 to £25,829.49 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
- £12.59 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is 4 weekly.

Training on all In House systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post if not already held.

The Person
Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
