Position Description:

We are looking for a Process Operations Supervisor at our Long Canyon operation. The successful candidate will oversee heap leaching, mine care and maintenance, reclamation, budgeting, and health and safety management system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise, support, and professionally develop process operations, maintenance, and reclamation crews.
• Provide training and mentoring for operators.
• Develop a safe, productive, and high-performing crew while working collaboratively within the framework of the site team and company enterprise.
• Ensure that all operation activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company.
• Maintain the integrity and appearance of the site while operating within regulatory and permitting guidelines.
• Conduct individual employee evaluations.
• Update employee training records and status upgrades.
• Achieve the yearly operational budget, identify saving, and reduce costs through efficient process operation. 
• Identify vendors/contractors needed to complete repairs, maintenance, or other duties and manage the work being completed.  
• Perform SAP-user duties including: OTL (Oracle Time Labor) entry and approval, MSS (Manager Self Service), work requests, work orders, move orders, LMS (Learning Management System).
• Work to manage and improve health and safety management systems, procedures, and documents. 

Qualifications:

• Proven safety record and ability to support work group in achievements of safety, environmental, and production goals required
• Five (5) years process operations experience required
• Ability to supervise numerous employees at once required
• Ability to lead crew lineouts, safety meeting etc. required
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures and to hold fellow employees/contractors accountable to follow company policies and procedures required
• Experience with computer operations required
• Budgeting and planning experience preferred
